We build power systems from the ground up, hardware, software, and everything in between, to deliver electricity more efficiently, more reliably, and at a lower cost than anything the industry has produced in decades.

    We chase what is true, because truth is what makes us better. The data does not care about your title or whose idea it was, and that is the gift: the answer wins. So dig for the real story, especially the parts others would rather skip, say what you see, and welcome the same back. We find our weak spots before the market does.

Where competitors manufacture hundreds of unique configurations for different power levels and applications, Mattur's modular architecture scales from a single 20 kW unit to any power requirement using one core platform. Fewer SKUs means tighter manufacturing, faster throughput, and a simpler supply chain. It also means consistent parts, predictable service, and a system that's as easy to maintain in the field as it is to expand.

Why Mattur Exists

Ninety-six percent of the world's electricity still runs through a generator design that has barely evolved since Thomas Edison's first power plant in 1882. The demand for modern, efficient, and affordable power has long since outpaced what the industry has been willing to build. That gap is the opportunity Mattur was founded to close.

The timing has never been more consequential. Electricity demand in the United States is projected to grow faster over the next decade than at any point in the last fifty years, driven by AI infrastructure, domestic manufacturing, electrification, and an aging grid that was never designed for what's being asked of it. The world doesn't just need more energy. It needs energy that's affordable, resilient, and produced closer to where it's consumed.

Mattur was founded to solve that problem at the root. Not with a software layer on top of old hardware, and not with a single clever feature, but with a ground-up engineering effort that touches every part of how electricity is generated. New engine architecture. Novel supercapacitor integration. A purpose-built inverter. A wind platform engineered to scale horizontally, in geographies where no utility-scale system has worked before. Kaleim is a proven CEO who has led companies through private equity transactions, built high-performance organizations, and earned recognition as one of Phoenix's top executives under 40. Kris is an engineer's engineer, with over two decades of inventive mechanical design across energy, automotive, defense, and aerospace, and more than 35,000 parts taken from concept to production. He founded and scaled Bobe Water & Fire Features to a successful acquisition. Together, they bring the exact combination this mission demands: operational discipline, technical depth, and the conviction that energy independence is not a distant goal. It's an engineering problem waiting to be solved.

Kaleim is an entrepreneur focused on strategy, innovation, and execution. At Mattur, he leads the effort to build the next great American energy company — delivering reliable, low-cost power through next-generation systems. Named to Phoenix Business Journal's 'Top 40 Under 40,' Kaleim previously served as CEO of Spear, where he led two successful private equity transactions and repositioned the company as a tech-driven organization. He remains on Spear's board and is also a board member and principal shareholder at Imagen Partners. Kaleim holds an M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

Kris Kesler

CTO, Board Member & Co-Founder

Kris leads Mattur's engineering and product development, bringing over two decades of hands-on experience in mechanical design and advanced manufacturing. He has led the development of more than 35,000 components across the energy, automotive, defense, and architectural industries. Prior to Mattur, Kris founded Bobe, where he built a fully integrated fabrication facility with around-the-clock CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, finishing, and environmental testing — scaling the company into a global leader before its acquisition in 2018.
